She is survived by her spouse, Durl "Wayne" Pinkston, and her siblings, Tommy Dunn and Mary Sue Butler, alongside her four beloved children: her sons, Patrick "Pedro" Smith, Jeremiah Smith and his wife, Shannon, Joshua Craig and his wife, Jamie, and daughter Laurie Douglass and her husband Scott. Her heart swelled with pride for her grandchildren: Kaytlin and Cameran Smith, Keely Craig and Ryan Sheldon, Jared Pinkston, and Meagan and Wyatt Douglass, each carrying a piece of her legacy forward.

Though her heart ached with the loss of her own family members—father Clarence Rundell, Mother Faye Rundell, sister Joyce Dernovish, and brother Gary Rundell—she remained a pillar of resilience, triumphing over adversity as a three-time cancer survivor. Each battle she fought was met with unwavering strength, embodying the very essence of her life’s philosophy: to live fully and love fiercely.
