I first met Chris at a church where I was to preach on New Year’s Day, 2023. As I pulled into the parking lot I saw his work truck advertising his tree service. Shaking hands with the men, I knew he had to be the “tree guy” by his huge as a ham and strong as a vise hand shake. I told him I was needing tree work at my house and Chris asked if we could pray. I thought he wanted to pray about tree work but he was wanting to pray for me and the worship service about to begin. As we stepped into the Pastor’s office Chris prayed with an intensity like Elijah. A few days later I asked Chris if he would be one of my prayer partners. He accepted and for the last three-and-a-half years Chris was one of seven people across the country I would text before preaching/teaching assignments. He also shared his requests with me. Our prayers are now for Diane and the family. May the Father of mercies and God of all comfort be with them. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

I met Chris many years ago when he worked at Panchos and I worked at the Dry cleaners. He was always funny and kind. Praying for his wife and kids and family. I’m so sorry for your loss!
