My Mamaw—my best friend, my confidant, my safe place. You were always my person. No matter what was happening in my life, I knew I could come to you, and you would listen without judgment. No matter what mistakes I made, your love for me never changed. I am so incredibly blessed that God gave me 98 wonderful years with you. If I could have had another 98, I would have cherished every single one. But your body was tired, and I know you were ready to go home. My heart just wasn’t ready to let you go. I will miss your voice, your wisdom, your hugs, and your unconditional love every day until the Lord reunites us. Thank you for loving me so completely. Until we meet again, Mamaw, I will carry you with me always. I love you forever.
