Debra Dyer

Debra Dyer passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on September 28, 1952. Debra was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Debra embodied grace and compassion. She was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to her family. Debra's nurturing presence created a home filled with love and laughter, where all who entered were welcomed with open arms. She was known by most as "Momma Debbie" we know her best as "Nanny", she sure loved to go, go, go. She enjoyed crafting, diamond art, and sewing. 

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Charles and Cecile Starling White, her husband Sammy Dyer, and daughter Jacqueline Bennings (Bobby). 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Sonja Burke and Evelyn Murphy (Bo), grandchildren Trey Baker, Travis Baker, Scott Bennings (Stachia) Delta Procella (Dalin), Bradley Bennings, Abigail Murphy (Carson), Lillyann Murphy, great grandchildren Noah Mills, Ruby Bennings, Jasper Bennings, Knox Bennings and her pride and joy, Preslee Shayne Procella, sister Vickie Simmons (Sonny), brother Randy Kennicott, also a host of special friends whom she called family. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th at 3:00 PM at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Blevins. Funeral services will follow after at 4:00 PM at Union Grove Church with Ed Woods officiating.
