Robert Autrey

Robert Joe Autrey, born September 8, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2025.

Robert was a hardworking HVAC professional and small business owner, known throughout Maud, Texas, as the man you could count on. Whether it was a broken unit, a neighbor in need, or a friend needing a hand, Robert showed up. He was dependable, kind, and generous with his time and talents.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Woods, his father, Dayne Autrey, and his sister, Melisa Joy Autrey.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Angelic Autrey; his daughter, Clarissa Wright; his stepson, Nathan Wharton; his beloved grandchildren, Aiden Wharton, Silas Wharton, and Calem Wharton, his sister Darla Webber and brother Danny Autrey. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

Robert was the best kind of brother, a steady presence, and a trusted friend. His legacy of loyalty, service, and love will remain strong in the hearts of those who knew him.

Memorial will be held on August 5, 2025, at 11:00, at Center Ridge Cemetery in Maud.
