Cole Paxton Lewis
August 11, 2004 – July 16, 2025
Cole Paxton Lewis, age 20, of Queen City, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2025. Cole was known for his kind heart, deep loyalty, and the joy he brought to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his fiancée, Valeria Brentni Watford; his grandmother, Dorothy Stevens; and his cousin, Autumn Hagood.
Cole is survived by his parents, Carrie Rosemary Lewis and James Edward Lewis Jr.; his brothers, Benjamin Hagood (Syd), David Hagood (Jordan), and Geoffrey Lewis (Tina); and his sisters, Morgan Quick (Matt), Annabell Quick, Marleigh Duncan, Stella Duncan, Deedee (Bo) Weaver, and Allie Watts.
He is also survived by his aunt Martha (Tom) Everett, his uncle David and aunt Kathy Stevens, and a large extended family of cousins who loved him dearly: Dustin Hagood, Dalton Hagood, Airik Hagood, Xavier Hagood, Shelby Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Brandon Miller, Steven Miller, Blake Miller, Dakota Miller, Blaine Miller, Hunter Brannon, Kara Simmons, DJ Simmons, William Lewis, Jeff Miller, James Miller (Misty), Jennifer Bush (Jamie), and Lindy Self (David). His best friend, Blake Hill, also mourns his passing.
In addition to his immediate and extended family, Cole leaves behind countless family members and friends who were touched by his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held with a Pot Luck meal at, Clear Springs Pavilion, Lake Wright Patman on Sunday August 3rd from 3 to 5
Cole’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

The first time I met Cole, he was wearing leather chaps over his jeans, a leather jacket and boots. He had on a large cowboy hat. It was the dead of summer and he looked as cool as a cucumber. I didn’t know Cole very long, but his impact will live on. Rest in peace.
