Obituary

Stephanie Gomez was born on March 21, 1966  she left this earth July 15, 2025 to be in her forever home with Jesus. 

 Stephanie is proceeded in death by her father Daniel C. Matthews, sister Kori Lynn Matthews and nephew Ty Awtrey Ball.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Gomez of Las Vegas, Nevada,  2 sons, Brandon and Wife Audra Knaupe of Redwater, Texas,  son   Matt Knaupe of Redwater, Texas . Mother and stepdad Bonnie K.  and Dennis Coats of Atlanta, Texas 3 sisters Kimberly and Troy of Catoosa, Oklahoma,  Danielle and Bryan Martin of Atlanta, Texas, and Melody Rich of Atlanta, Texas. Four grandchildren Matthew, Dylan, Marshall, and Addy all of Redwater, Texas. 

Stephanie was an RN for over 30 years.  She was caretaker at heart. She loved her children and grandchildren and all of her family.  She loved to cook ,sing and make memories with her family. 

We would like to give a special thanks to Chambers Hospice of Texarkana, Texas.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Chambers Hospice.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday July 20, at 3:00 pm at Christian Warrior Church Texarkana, Arkansas Micah Harp officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.

So sad to be seeing this! It's been 15+yrs since we seen each other but I will remember & cherish those years always.. I will always think of you doing karaoke at the Three Monkeys !! RIP Until we meet again.

Stephanie was a wonderful mother and even more wonderful grandmother! She loved with all her heart and I’ll always remember how beautiful she always looked! Her hair was so pretty! I was very lucky to have her as a mother n law! I will always continue to cook Mr. Turkey for her every thanksgiving! We love you momma! I know you are sad to leave your family behind but I know you are happy to be with your lord, daddy, and nephew Ty! Tell my mom I said hi, y’all watch over us please! Until we meet again! Rest easy now!
