Sylvia Jones

Sylvia Ann Jones, age 64, of Simms, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, just days before her 65th birthday. Born on July 24, 1960, in New Boston, Texas.

Sylvia brought warmth, compassion, and dedication to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Jones; her parents, Ondres and Patsy Kemp Kruse; and her cherished sisters, Tina Marie Kruse and Carolyn Sue Kruse. Sylvia’s life was shaped by love, resilience, and a deep commitment to family. And a little bit of feistiness.

A devoted healthcare professional in her younger days, Sylvia dedicated her life to caring for others. Her passion for helping those in need was most evident in the past ten years as she selflessly cared for her brother, demonstrating her extraordinary strength and compassion.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Shelia Kruse Woodle, Howard Kruse, Pattie Kruse Dowdle and Rita Ferris. Sylvia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness and …tell it like it is attitude.

Sylvia’s legacy of love, care, and devotion lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Service will be Wednesday July 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Officiated by Charles Hillis and Augustine Alaniz at Trinity Full Gospel Church442 Highway 67 W Maud, Texas.
