Obituary
Lori Anderson, 68, of Texarkana, TX, passed away at her home on July 9, 2025.
She was born on July, 25 1956, in Great Falls, MT, to Robert and Maria Ranieri.
Lori was a woman of rare grace, unmatched compassion, and unconditional love. A devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother, she lived a life rooted in kindness and service to others, whether they walked on two legs or four. She was a poet whose words carried the power of healing, understanding, and joy. An ordained minister who used her voice to unite hearts in love and to comfort those in need.
Perhaps most of all, Lori was a sanctuary—a safe haven for the wounded, the lost, and the voiceless. Her deep love for animals was not just a passion; it was a calling. From nursing fawns to survive on their own to holding baby owls with her tender hands, Lori became a guardian angel on earth for countless creatures. Her home and heart were always open, and the ripple of her compassion extended far beyond what even she could imagine.
Just like her care for animals, Lori cherished all of the people in her life. Whether it was a good morning text or catching up on old times, Lori was always there when someone needed a listening ear. She was the pinnacle of empathy that we should all strive to match.
Lori was preceded in death by her father Robert Ranieri and her sister Irene Harris. She is survived by her mother Maria Ranieri; her sister Trish Grau and husband John Grau; her husband Lynn Anderson; her children: Josh and Danielle Anderson, Nate Eby, and Sarah and Alex Sherer; and her grandchildren: Tori Anderson, Jaxon Anderson, Livi Anderson, Jakob Anderson, Kaelynn Eby, and Grayson Eby.
No funeral services will be held, but there will be a memorial service at a later date. Please provide donations to the Texarkana Animal League in lieu of flowers.
