James Weehunt

James C. Weehunt, fondly referred to as “Big Jim”, 64, of Texarkana, AR, passed away on July 10, 2025, and is now reunited with the love of his life, Jamie Weehunt, who passed earlier this year.

James lived with a fearless heart, a steady hand, and the sound of a Harley always close by. A true biker through and through, he found his greatest joy in riding the open road, living his faith, and sharing a deep bond with his wife, whose loss he carried heavily after her passing in January. He was a proud member of First Bikers Church, where his love of motorcycles and belief in God came together in a community that meant the world to him, and in a way that truly reflected his spirit—bold, loyal, and full of purpose. Whether it was leading a ride, lending a hand, or simply showing up when someone needed him, James made an impact everywhere he went. Now retired from this world, James rides again—free from pain, at peace, and side by side with his beloved wife.

James is survived by his step-daughters, Kira Henderson and Kendra Ditmars, his beloved grandchildren Savannah and Dylan, his brother Joe Forste, sisters Sherry Helms, Patty Helms, Freida (Larry) Neilsen, Betty Campos, nephew Michael Weehunt, many other extended family and countless friends who became family over the years. He leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, love, and the kind of strength only found in those who ride through life full throttle.
