I feel almost like I grew up with Ed. We came up through the Malvern band program. Then we both went to Henderson and majored in music. Ed and I (play bass trombone too) had lots of fun beefing up the bass parts (especially in jazz band). He accomplished so much and blessed so many lives here. No doubt he is enjoying and involved in making music in Heaven. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Me Grissom was by and far one of the most impactful teachers I ever had. He was tremendously kind and patient. He was always pushing us to be better, to try new things and showed us what joy music is to play. There are thousands of lives touched by his devotion. I am comforted to know his suffering is complete and his eternity with our Lord has begun. Teach them angels how to really 'get down!' To the family, I'm sorry
