Johnny Adams, age 53, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on June 24, 2025. Born on August 8, 1971, Johnny was a devoted partner, father, and grandfather who will be remembered for his kind heart, easy laughter, and love for music and good company.
He lived life fully, always finding joy in the simple moments, laughter with friends, and the music he loved. Johnny’s warmth and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his spouse, Gail Simpson; his children, Levi Adams and Brytni Erwin; and his grandchildren, Jessi Erwin, Addisyn Adams, and Alexia Gipson. He is also survived by his siblings, Carl Adams, Kelly Cockrum, and James “Jamie” Adams; his nephews, Phillip Fowler and Christopher Fowler; and special friends, Wayne Moorehead and Butch Cline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Helen Adams.
Johnny’s life touched many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
