Ellen Smith

Ellen Louise Smith, age 66, passed away at her home in Simms, TX, on June 21, 2025. She was better known as Louise or Aunt Lou by her family.

She is survived by her son, Clifford Smith, and daughter-in-law, Tiffany Smith; two grandchildren, Rylee Smith of Simms, TX, and Makinzee Smith of Leary, TX; and one great-grandson, Walker Ellis Ballard of Leary, TX. She is also survived by her daughter, Karrisha Simpson, and three grandchildren, Destiny Long, Karlynne Long, and Kaison Walter Karnes, all of Brownwood, TX.

Louise was a loving person with a heart of gold. She was always willing to lend a hand and help anyone in need. She will always be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, lovingly called Nanna, a cherished sister, and Aunt Lou to many nieces and nephews. May her memory live on forever.


Memorial will be held at God's Little Acre Simms Tx, Friday at 11 a.m.
