Obituary
John (Bubba) McDonald Jr., age 79, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, Friday June 20th, 20225 at a local facility. Mr. McDonald was born Feb. 22, 1946, in Texarkana, AR.
Preceding him in death is his parents John and Lillian McDonald.
He worked in law enforcement under multiple agencies for approximately 50 years. He flew his private plane for law enforcement assignments as well as other work and pleasure trips. He spent many years farming and grew an exceptional home garden. Oh what a story teller he was.
He is survived by his wife Judy, two sons Craig (Rhonda) and John Michael (Maegan), granddaughter Mia, Rinnah, and Evie, brother Bill (Barbara), many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday 27th, 2025, at Everett Baptist Church. 4191 FM 1398, Hooks TX, with Bro. Roy Ford officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service and interment following service.
The family is honored to have Craig McDonald, John Michael McDonald, Andy Gaulden, Wayne Cranfill, Larry Swift, Jim Rains serving as Pallbearers.
