Obituary
Neil Dean Proulx, (64), of Texarkana, Texas, passed away in his home on February 12, 2024. Neil was born in San Diego, California on September 11, 1959. He was a generous and hardworking man who always enjoyed helping others. He was a mechanic by trade, but he knew how to fix just about anything.
Neil is survived by his two daughters, Amber and Jessica, and his three grandchildren, Ellaina, Lela, and Will. He was also survived by five siblings, Brad, Kevin, Janelle, Susie, and Steven. Neil was proceeded in death by his wives, Brenda Sue Bell and Linda Daniel, his parents, Virgil and Dorothy, and two siblings, Monty and Michelle.
Neil battled with disability and diabetes for over ten years. Throughout that time, he never lost his sense of humor, trying to spread as many smiles and laughter among his family, friends, and even strangers. In his final moments, he passed away peacefully holding both his daughter’s hands.
Neil’s family will host a celebration of life on Sunday, February 18 th at 2:00pm at the Rocky Point Group Site Pavilion in Texarkana, Texas.
