William Cobb

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William Richard Cobb, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life on June 22, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on February 8, 1937, in Ashdown, Arkansas.

William was the son of Sam and Addie Lee Cobb
and he grew up alongside his siblings, Samuel Cobb and Emma Box, who have since preceded him in death.

He leaves behind a wife, Murtie Faye Cobb; his three children, Ricky and Steve Cobb, and Brenda and (husband)Chris Rich; two step-children, Ricky and (wife)Karla Settlemoir and Randy Settlemoir, as well a sister in law Laura (Liz) Cobb, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
