Winfred "Dale" Miller, a devoted husband, father, and "Papa", esteemed veteran of the United States Air Force, dedicated civil servant at the Red River Army Depot, and cherished son of L.J. and Lois Miller, gracefully departed this life on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He entered the Gates of Heaven at the age of 78, marking the end of a life well-lived and the beginning of a well-earned eternal rest.
Transitioning from military to civilian life, Dale continued his legacy of service at the Red River Army Depot, where his work ethic and commitment were unwavering. Throughout his career, he displayed a steadfast devotion to his responsibilities, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and superiors alike.
In matters of the heart, he found his lifelong partner in Linda Miller, sharing decades of love, laughter, and warmth together. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of love and companionship, carrying them through life's joys and challenges with unwavering support and devotion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister in law Brenda Miller. His memory lives on in the hearts of his beloved wife Linda Miller, brothers and sisters in laws; Eugene and Kay Miller, Larry and Pat Miller, Raymond Miller, son Ken Miller, daughter and son in law Leanne and Matt Hammonds, three granddaughters and two son in laws; Chelsie and Andrew Stone, Allie and Chance King, and Faith Miller, 9 great grandchildren, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
