Dennis Murchison

Dennis Leon Murchison, passed away September 1st, 2025, at 69. He was born on August 7th, 1956, to Lewis Leon Murchison and Laverne Joyce Lovewell. Dennis lived a life filled with purpose and dedication.

In his spare time, Dennis enjoyed the simple pleasures of life - spending time with loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing his hobbies and interests. He was in the US Army, his love for life was contagious, and he approached each day with a sense of gratitude and joy that uplifted those around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Laverne, sisters Judy Byram and Joyce London, one son William Murchison, and one daughter Kathleen Green. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Patty, three daughters Melissa Murchison, Tabitha Dowling, and Koreen Dobbs (Ross), son Jr. Murchison, three brothers Bill, Richard, and Tony Murchison, sister in law Kimberly Cranfill, grandchildren Karina Dobbs, Cheyenne, Alanna, Destiny, Lala, Jr., Kayla, Celeste, Christian, Brody, Ian and Aubrey, four great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Dennis Murchison will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of crossing paths with him. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his legacy will forever be cherished and remembered.

Services will be held on Friday September 5th, 2025 at 2 PM in the Faith Community Baptist Church. 5265 FM 3098 Maud TX.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
