Virginia Price Elam

Virginia Ann “Ginger” Price of Ashdown, AR passed away peacefully at home January 10, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Born in Fouke, AR January 11, 1934, Ginger was a long-time resident of Texarkana until moving to Ashdown in 2000. She graduated high school from Texas High in 1952 and studied interior design at Texarkana College. Over the years, she was also an office professional and business owner, but most importantly, Ginger was a Child of God known for the love and kindness she showed everyone. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ralph Davis Price, her parents J.P. and Juanita Elam, brother Pat Elam, and sister Cora Williams. She is succeeded by her son Ralph David Price, daughter-in-law Melissa Sawyer-Price, grandchildren Alisha, Joshua, and Jeremy, granddaughter-in-law Meghan, great grandson Jeremiah, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1pm on February 4, 2023, at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 1910 AR-32 E, Ashdown, AR 71822.
