Kerry Grant

Kerry W. Grant, born on April 23, 1946, in Mansfield, LA, peacefully passed away on January 19, 2024, at his residence in Texarkana, AR, known actively as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was 77 years old.

Kerry is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Josefa Grant, and leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. He is also survived by six stepchildren: Dewayne Jude, Nicolas Jude, Rickie Jude, Wanda Kay Jude, Lori Chapman, and Susan Jude.

In addition to his immediate family, Kerry leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews who were sources of joy and pride in his life. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr and Mrs Jake Grant of Louisiana. 

Kerry's journey in life included remarkable achievements and a commitment to making a difference. He played football for Grambling State, showcasing his athletic prowess. Following his collegiate career, Kerry continued his passion for the sport by playing semi-pro football for the Flint Sabres.

Beyond the field, Kerry dedicated over 20 years to working with the Job Corps, where he made a significant impact on the lives of underprivileged youth. His unwavering dedication to helping others and his community has left a lasting impression on those he touched.

As we remember Kerry W. Grant, let us celebrate the rich and meaningful life he led, the lives he touched, and the positive influence he had on the world around him.
