R.V. Ellis

R.V. Mitchell (Mickey) Ellis JR 72, of Texarkana, Texas was born in Dumas, Arkansas on 10/01/1951, to Hazel and R.V. Ellis SR, and was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his parents, brother Kenneth Ellis, grandchildren Katie Ellis, Payton Ellis, daughter in law Kaycee Ellis, father and mother in law, Theresa and Don Matthews SR, brother in laws David Matthews and David Bullock, in his home on January 23, 2024. R.V. was a hardworking, loving man, who never met a stranger. Mickey lived a long, fulfilling life full of love. He had many trades and talents, but he eventually went to work in the oilfield. He later went on to find his sweetheart, settle down and have his babygirl. Mickey retired in 2015, but was never quite satisfied with sitting still, so he continued to work long after retirement. Mickey enjoyed spending his time drinking his coffee, riding tractors and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Survived by Devoted Wife of 31 years, Carol Ellis, loving sister Vanessa Ellis, doting children Ashley Hill and David Gaspard, Taylor and husband Patrick Lewis, Constance Brooke Ellis Morgan and husband Chandler, Kenneth Ellis, Angella and husband Glenn Brown, Brady Ellis and Kevin and wife Laura Lee Ellis. Grandchildren Morgan Chronister, Kaiden Starbuck, Carter Starbuck, Jerzi Lee, Rylann Gaspard, Haizleigh Grace, Beckham Grant, Kyle, Madison, and Jennifer Ellis, Jake and wife Erin Howell, Glenny Brown, JoLeigh Ellis, Kody and wife Beth Ellis, Dillion, Courtney, Logan, and Wyatt Ellis, Brodee, Corbin and Robin Gee.
