Obituary
Sandra (Sandy) Hinton VanAntwerp, aged 74, of Texarkana, TX, passed away on April 29th, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Sandra was born on November 27th, 1949, in Ashdown, AR, to David Wesley and Lela Faye Hinton. She was a retired prison guard from Telford Corrections Unit.
Sandra is survived by her three daughters: Tammy Hartline Butler (Doug) of Hot Springs, AR, Tonya Walker (Earl) of Texarkana, Texas, and Teri Van Antwerp of Texarkana, AR. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Donna Koepke of Linden, TX, and Kathryn Young of Thicket, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Wesley and Lela Faye Hinton.
We would like to thank Hospice of Texarkana for the wonderful care of our mother. Special thanks to Dr. Ramage, Dr. Hale, and Lillian for taking such good care of Mom.
A funeral service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Ashdown, Ark, May 4th 2024
Visitation at 12:00pm
Service at 1:00 p.m.
Flowers may be delivered to the church.

Rest in Peace Sandra🙏🙏❤️❤️ As kids I couldn’t understand why you were calling my Mamaw Aunt Ciecil. Then I realized we were cousins. Didn’t mater 1st 2nd or 3rd we are just Family. What a blessing to have you and our entire family in my life. You will be missed.

.She was also my best friends mother (Teri Vanantwerp) she was very much lover and will be surely missed.
