Geneta, 80 years old, peacefully went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2024 at a local nursing home.
She was born on August 10, 1943 to I.D. Wells and Thelma Jones-Norton in Italy, Texas. Geneta was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Curtis, her son, Ronald Bollier, and her parents. She is survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie Ross (Josh Ross), and her great grandson, Chandler Ross. Other survivors include Tim (Mr. Fix It), Glenda, Jessica, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed the color purple, coffee in the morning, recorded TV shows, and visiting the Choctaw Casino regularly. Geneta will be fondly remembered by her family and friends, who will cherish the memories.
A memorial service to celebrate Geneta's life will be held on June 8, 2024 at Lifehouse Church in Texarkana, Arkansas starting at 2 pm.
