Michael McCoulf

Michael “Mikey” Joseph McCoulf, 70, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 13, 2025, at Hospice of Texarkana surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Vallejo, California, on May 15, 1954, Michael earned a bachelor’s degree and later worked as a delivery driver. He was known for his steady work ethic, warm heart, and unwavering devotion to family.

Michael met the love of his life, Cindy Lee, in 1998 while working at Frito-Lay putting chips on display. Cindy worked nearby in the floral department at Raley’s. Their connection was immediate and enduring—they were inseparable from the start and were married on March 7, 1999.

He loved working in the yard and spending time outdoors. Whether tending to his garden or just enjoying a quiet moment outside, nature brought him peace and joy.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Lee McCoulf; his mother, Patricia McCoulf; daughter, Cheree Miller; sons, Billy Bowlus and Steven Bowlus; sons-in-law Anthony Miller and daughters-in-law Sabrina and Ji; grandchildren Sarah, Savannah, and A.J. Miller, Logan Bowlus, and great-grandson Emile. He also leaves behind his brothers Paul McCoulf and Jim McCoulf; sisters-in-law Christine McCoulf, Ginger Tolleson, and Diana; brother-in-law Bill Tolleson; and aunt Kathleen Zalesky. He is also remembered fondly by a host of nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Joseph McCoulf; brother, Steven McCoulf; sisters-in-law Judy McCoulf and Joyce Ann Haynes; father-in-law Douglas Haynes; and uncles Nick, Jim Doyle, Lawrence Doyle, and Gary; and aunt Jackie.

Mikey’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
