Donna Watson, a loving and spirited member of her family, passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 65 in Texarkana, Texas. Born on December 19, 1959, in Clarksville, Texas, Donna dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, manifesting a warmth and vitality that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Throughout her career, Donna worked in clerical roles, where her diligence and cheerful nature shone through. But it was her role within the family that meant the most to her. She cherished her loved ones deeply and brought joy and light to every room she entered.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Watson; her son, Danny Conner, and his wife Caroline May; and her grandson, Finn Conner. She is also survived by her sisters, Teresa Devine and husband Dean; her mother, Mary Zenola; her dad, J.B. Zenola; and her very special aunt, Janice Henry. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members she adored.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Cain, whose memory she always carried with her.

Donna's vibrant spirit and loving heart will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Arrangements are under the direction of Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.

My wife Viv and I bought our first home next to Donna and Steve in 2008. We were newly weds, very young with no children. Donna and Steve watched over us as our family grew three children. Our children didn't have active grandparents. We can remember seeing the hand of God provide grandparent things for our children through their love. Our first son little Jeff was about toddler age and began to enjoy rideable toys. We had a toy that he rode on that I had to run behind and push. It wasn't long before Donna and Steve presented Jeffery with his own battery charged 4 wheeler. There were times in our young marriage that we didn't know how well Christmas would go. The next thing you know we were gifted money that enabled us to have the Christmas we wanted to have. Donna's faith was on display through her actions to her neighbors and we will forever cherish the neighbor adoption that both her and Steve allowed us to have. Donna was full of love but was not afraid to shoot you straight at any time. She believed in Jesus and I believe she is reaping the rewards of her faith even though she had to go through what the Bible refers to down here as light afflictions compared to the glory she now has received. That her present far outweighs the things she walked through here. We will forever love you Donna and Steve and never forget the addition of neighborly family you brought tour lives. I keep remembering when we were kids. Donna was always fun & sweet. Getting in trouble for bathing our dog. Watching the beginning of Stevie & her relationship, they were always together unusual to be together as long as they have been. I love you Donna!!

Me and Donna was together so many years it's hard to think of life without her but I know I have to take care of the things she didn't have the time to do I thank everyone how reached out and there is a very special family I would like to thank it's the Stephenson family of Mt. My deepest sympathy to the family. Momma D was like a second mom to me most of my life. She loved my family and we loved her so very much!
