Odis Kidd

Odis Radford Kidd, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the age of 78, following a lengthy illness. He was born on August 14, 1946, to Dan and Leta Kidd.

Odis was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Hazel Beckham Kidd, with whom he shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. His love for her was profound, and together they raised a loving family that included six children.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: David, Charles Kidd, Agnes Pate, Margie Kounds, and Opal Day. As the youngest member of his family and the last child, he also mourned the loss of two sons, Jeffery Scott Kidd and Bradley Keith Kidd, along with two grandsons, Johnathon and Eric Kidd.

Odis is survived by his cherished wife, Hazel, and their sons, Ronnie Kidd (Toni), William Kidd (Juanita), Michael Kidd, and daughter Lisa Henderson, all of Texarkana. He leaves behind a legacy of love embodied in his seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Odis had a deep passion for family and treasured the moments spent together, whether hunting, fishing, attending baseball games, or enjoying thrilling car races. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him.
