Obituary

Glenn Lee Garrett, 62, of Texarkana , AR went to be with his Heavenly Father March 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy & Marcia Garrett and his oldest daughter Marci Garrett. He attended Church on The Rock in Texarkana, Tx. Glenn will always be remembered for his compassion, love of family & his many dogs throughout his life that were truly his best friends. He was a loyal friend to all and a huge Arkansas Razorback Fan! He always strived to provide and care for his family by working hard as a roofer his entire life. He loved well and was always willing to help those in need. Although he will be missed, we are comforted to know he is at peace & free of pain & sorrow, reunited with loved ones.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Garrett of Little Rock, his stepson, Zeth Watts (Amanda) of Warrensburg, Mo. and a daughter Layla Garrett of Pine Bluff, one brother Greg Garrett (Amy) of Camden and one sister, who was his caregiver in his final days, Tonya Byrd (Tim) of Texarkana, as well as several grandchildren & nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to his graveside service on Saturday, March 22nd at 11am at Lakeside Cemetery/Lakeside Untied Methodist Church in East Camden, Ar. with Bro. Winfield Piker officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.

I've known Glen for nearly 50 years....we often talked them wild days when we were teenagers...hanging around the bowling alley...Garden Oaks...the Sonic...great memories of a lifetime ago. RIP my friend.

Glenn really was a caring person and good friend. I always liked talking to him, he had some good stories to tell. So sorry to learn he passed away. He will definitely be missed by many.

Glenn and I met in the 6th grade and instantly became friends, he is one of my closest friends, to his family and friends, I am sorry I c, an't be there, but my heart will be, I only knew Marci, but to his other 2 kids, I am sorry you guys are in my Prayers and to Greg and Tanya I am sorry, I loved your whole family growing up, I knew both your grandparents on your mom's side and your dad's side, you guys were like my family, I will keep you all in my Prayers, wish I could be there, but I will look to the sky and a star and call it Glenn's shining star and when I need to talk to Glenn I will look up at that star and talk to him, may God Bless you guys, your friend, Terry Hunter

Glenn you will be missed. He helped me in a time I had no place to go and no job. He gave me both of them things and we became good friends in the process and I will always remember him for his kindness and selfless nature. R. I. P.
