Obituary
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse and found joy in helping those in need. She cherished time with her family, finding happiness in cooking, laughing, and simply being together. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Mary Hartman, and her brother, Douglas Hartman.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Jimmy Harvin; her sons, Jimmy Harvin Jr. and Chris Harvin, both of Texarkana, AR; her beloved grandchildren, Caleb Harvin, Mason and Mallory Harvin of Baytown, TX, Abigail Harvin, and Jaci Harvin of Texarkana, AR. Her brother Tony (Susie) Hartman, sister Sandy Hart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Saturday, March 1, at 10:00 a.m. at Life House Church, with James Ross officiating.
Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
