Obituary

Michael Ray Baird, 64, of Texarkana, TX, made the journey home to the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2025. A life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family and friends will always be remembered.

Born on July 6, 1960, in Texarkana, TX, Michael brought warmth and kindness to those around them. Michael had a passion for bowling, live music, and NASCAR, always finding joy in the thrill of the game, the energy of a great concert, and the roar of the racetrack.

Preceded in death by father Jerrell Ray Baird and grandparents Elzy Hurt, Lloyd Fore, and Edna Fore, Michael’s memory will continue to be honored by those who remain.

Survived by loving partner Dawn Phillips; mother Pansy Baird; daughter Alicia Guy and husband Zack, along with their children, Daphne and Dillon; bonus daughter Kaitlyn Barker; sister Pam Sowell and husband Greg; brother Doug Baird and wife Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael’s presence brought joy to many, and the memories shared will be cherished always. 

Services will be held at a later date.

I didn't know Micheal personally but I know Dawn and she was crazy about him and spoke very highly of Micheal.. My Heart, Thoughts and Prayers go out to Dawn and his Family and Friends. God Bless
