Vonda McCann

Vonda Marie McCann (Sellers) was born on June 30, 1958, in Bakersfield, California. She gained her wings peacefully on February 6, 2025, with her family by her side.

She is survived by her loving mother, Waletta "Marie" Shepek; her daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Bryan Anglin; her grandchildren, Matt Steiber, Kimi and Zach Bertey, Jake Callahan, Veda and Drake McCann, Sebastian Peoples, and Dakota and Tyler Jackson; and her great-grandchildren, Ella, Daniel, and Sadie Bertey. She is also survived by her loving companion, Earnest Peoples; her son and his fiancée, EJ Peoples and Victoria Terry; her son and daughter-in-law, Anton and Laura Jackson; her brothers and sisters, Bruce and Shelly Sellers, Carla and Robert McCaslin, Jerry Sellers, Chris Colby, and Shelly Owens; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wayne McCann; her son, Michael Wayne McCann; her brother, Howe James Sellers; and her father, Jesse James Sellers.

Vonda was a woman of strength, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
