Virgil Reed

Virgil Keith Reed, known to many as "Snuffy," was a kind-hearted and hardworking man who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand. He loved the simple joys of life, including fishing, listening to country music, and spending time on his porch. Keith's presence was a blessing to those who knew him, and his generous spirit will be greatly missed.

Keith, 60, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away in a Louisiana hospital on February 2, 2025. He was born in Texarkana on June 29, 1964, to Martha Richardson and was later adopted by his father, David McCain.

He was preceded in death by his father, David McCain, and two brothers, Joey Reed and Allen Reed. He is survived by his mother, Martha Stovall; his daughter, Brandi Reed; stepdaughter, Cynthea Vickery; stepsons, Shawn James and Cody James; a special friend, Charlie Beasley; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on February 8, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, 416 MC 217, Fouke, AR 71837. A time for food and fellowship will follow the service, welcoming all friends and family to celebrate Keith’s life.
