Sharon Kidd

Sharon Van Earnest Kidd (Granny), 83, of Ashdown, Ark., passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 11, 2025.

Sharon was a loving wife to Curtis C. Kidd for 63 years. That union was blessed with 3 children, 4 grands and 7 great grands that they loved beyond measure. Sharon was born in Little River County and spent most of her life there. A 1959 Ashdown High School graduate, she married Curtis in June of that year and they started their family. She worked a few jobs in her lifetime but her No. 1 devotion was her family and making sure they well cared for always topped her list. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She opened her home to them whenever they wanted. She loved to sew and made beautiful clothes for her children, her grands and many others in her lifetime.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis C Kidd ; her parents Kenneth and Pinkie Earnest; sister Lavelle Withem (Alfred); brothers Kenneth Cullen Earnest (Geryldine) and Donald Ray Earnest (Mary Dell). She is survived by her three children: son Curtis Anthony Kidd "Tony"; daughters Donna Kidd Jackson and Sherry Lavon Graham and son-in-law Curtis Graham "Scooter"; grandchildren Jason Curtis Graham, Kayla Michelle Waters (Pat), Christopher Shane Graham (Laykon), and Madison McKayla Kidd; and great grandchildren Dallie Kyle Graham, Joseph Graham Billingsley, Miller Rush Graham, Bailey Rae Graham, Braylyn Waters, Addilyn Waters and Bronc Callahan Graham.

The family will have a memorial at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the American Heart Association.
