Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Danny Wade Poole, who peacefully departed this world at the age of 72 on December 19, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife, Lynn Poole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray (Shorty) and Rhoda Poole.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Poole; his children, Melanie (Dennis) Larson, Misty (Chad) Cooper, Shasta (Chris) Haddock, Diane (Chris) Seifert, Allen (Jennifer) Cummings, Amanda (Amos) Burt, and Rebecca (Coty) Nipper. His brother, Ted Poole, and sister, Jenny Rae Poole. He had 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Danny found immense joy in cooking on the grill and fishing, and his enthusiasm for NASCAR. For 55 years, he dedicated his life to being a Journeyman Pipefitter with Pipeliners Local Union 798. Throughout his career, he took great pride in mentoring many coworkers and built strong, lasting friendships through his warmth and wonderful sense of humor.
To honor Danny’s life, a memorial service will be held on January 11 at 1:00 pm at Faith Community Baptist Church, located at 5265 FM 3098, Maud, TX 75567. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests financial donations, which will be greatly appreciated.
