Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kathie Joy White. Kathie was born on December 9, 1951, and passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024.

Kathie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Steven White, and her parents, Harvey and Maxine Autrey.

Kathie leaves behind her devoted family. She is survived by her daughters: Tammie Willett of Hot Springs, AR; Candi Byram and husband Shane of Wake Village, TX; and Tempie Rutherford and fiancé Orlando Sandoval of Arlington, TX; as well as one stepdaughter, Brandi White of Spring, TX. She also leaves behind one brother, Roy J. Autrey, and his wife Rita of Maud, TX.

Kathie’s memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Chase Stone, Garrett McDonald, Trevor Dobson and wife Breanna, Brenna Dobson, Riley Rutherford, and Talan White-Stone. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Whitley McDonald and Brooks Dobson, along with her niece and nephews, Jennifer Bennett, Ryan Autrey, and Richard Autrey.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Circle J Cowboy Church in Texarkana, AR.
