Obituary

Betty Louise Gossett, age 64, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, in a nursing home.

Miss Gossett was born on January 21, 1960, in Texarkana, Arkansas. She worked for Red River Credit Union until retiring due to health issues. She enjoyed spending time with her high school friends, reading her Bible, and caring for her beloved dog, Rusty.

She is preceded in death by her father, J.W. Gossett; mother, Lillie Gossett; sisters, Bernice Aaron and Brenda Ward; brother, Stanley Aaron; and sister-in-law, Arane Easley.

She is survived by her sister, Zella Caldwell; brothers, Wayne Aaron and wife Doris Aaron, and John Gossett and wife Destiny Gossett; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Betty Gossett will be held at Buchanan First Baptist Church, 3635 Buchanan Loop Rd, Texarkana, TX 75501, on December 27, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
