So many things could be said in honor of this great servant but what comes to my mind is Faithfulness. I will really miss Johnny faithful spirit. I think my baby girl (now 26) was one of the first the echo Pianoman , when she was a toddler she called him pianoman and Johnny seemed to like it so it stuck. I love ya brother and this isn’t goodbye just see ya later .

I loved how he would always have a smile on his face even when he was having a bad day and I loved how he would love when my little sister would copy him when he was on the phone when he worked at sugar hill trucking company. My heart goes out to his loving family. I'm so sorry for the loss of a GREAT man.

Johnny made musical magic with me on Wednesday nights for prayer meeting at least 15 years of his 17 at FBC Redwater. He could predict what another musician was about to do and Johnny made it marvelous. He was a music icon to me and I can't wait to play together again. It will be prefect! See ya later John S.!
