Dominga Garcia, affectionately known as "Minga," was born on November 10, 1963, in Luling, Texas, to Maria Elena Garcia and Leonisio Garcia. She passed away peacefully at the age of 60 on September 21, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones in her home in Mineral Springs, Arkansas.
Minga was a beloved companion to Margarito Gonzales and a cherished sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her children: Kristy Ann Jones (Adolphus L. Jones), Orfelinda Ann Barragan (Ramon Barragan), and Juan Antonio Ruiz Jr. (Blanca A. Ruiz). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Venessa Rodriguez, Ruth Rodriguez, Meshach Rodriguez (Lucy Rodriguez), Alexandra Rodriguez, Emilee Barragan, Landon Barragan, Zachary Ruiz, Samantha Ruiz, Olivia Ruiz, and Juan Ruiz III, as well as her great-grandchildren: Karter Hopson, Jasir Hopson, Roman Rodriguez, Amiya Rodriguez, and Kaleb Ruiz.
Minga is also survived by her siblings: Diane Garcia, Rosemary Garcia, Sophia Garcia, Leonisio Garcia Jr., George Garcia (Heather Garcia), and Elizabeth Martinez. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
