Richard Anthony (Tony) Rigdon, born on August 23, 1968, at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on July 27, 2024, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Tony’s spirit and love for life will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
Tony is survived by his parents, John Rigdon, Sr., and Elva M. Rigdon; his brothers, John Rigdon (wife Roxy), Keith Rigdon, and Jason Hogquist; and his sisters, Amber Soderling (husband Lance) and Belinda Estrada. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends Jonathan and Phillip.
Tony had many talents and hobbies, which reflected his zest for life. He was admired and loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His favorite word was "groovy," a testament to his vibrant and positive outlook.
Tony’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy of courage, love, and joy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
