Phillip Bocox

Phillip A. Bocox, age 78, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2026, at Little River Nursing Facility in Ashdown, Arkansas. He was born on April 4, 1948, to Raymond and Pauline Bocox. Throughout his life, Phillip was known for his quiet strength, steadfast character, and deep devotion to the people he loved.

Phillip shared 55½ wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jacolyn. Their years together were filled with memories, companionship, and a lifetime of love. He was a proud member of the Marine Corps Reserves, where he served for six years. Outside of his service, Phillip found enjoyment in the game of golf, a pastime that brought him many hours of pleasure. He valued the simple things in life and the time spent with those closest to him.

During his final days, Phillip was surrounded by compassionate care and support from the staff at Little River Nursing Facility and Hospice of Texarkana, whose kindness and dedication provided comfort along the way.

Phillip's passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him, but the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Pauline Bocox.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 55½ years, Jackie Bocox; his three sons, Kris Bocox and his wife Shelley, Kasey Bocox and his partner Kimberly Hibschman, and Kobey Bocox; his sister, Paula Young and her husband Mike; and his cherished grandchildren, Lauryn and Marcus Bocox, and Mikayla and Bethany Arbeene; along with many special friends, extended family members, and all those whose lives were made better by knowing him.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, Phillip's life will continue to be remembered through the family he loved, the friendships he treasured, and the countless memories he leaves behind. May those who knew and loved him find comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on in their hearts.
