Obituary

In Loving Memory of Albertine “Tina” J. Syphers

Albertine “Tina” J. Syphers was born on December 29, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, to Ralph and Agnes Crieger. She will be remembered as a strong, outspoken woman with a caring heart and a deep love for her family and friends. Her vibrant personality and devotion to those she loved left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

To so many, Tina was their beloved “Maw” and “Aunt T”—a devoted caretaker who made sure the people she loved were looked after. Whether offering support, sharing her wisdom, or simply being there when she was needed, Tina had a way of making the people in her life feel cared for and connected.

Tina built a career in accounting and payroll before retiring from Raytheon. She continued serving her community as a substitute teacher for Hooks Independent School District and volunteered with Hooks Athletic Booster activities. Her compassion extended beyond her community through a donation to Wigs for Kids, helping support children in need.

Tina also found joy in baking, a love she was especially happy to share with her granddaughter, Londyn. Teaching Londyn to bake created special moments and lasting memories that will be treasured for years to come. Through these shared experiences, Tina passed along more than recipes; she created traditions and a special bond that will live on for generations.

Family was at the heart of Tina’s life. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Rick Syphers; her son, Shan Syphers, and his spouse, Sandra; and her cherished granddaughters, Londyn and Sierra. She also leaves behind her very special niece, Alyce, Alyce’s husband, Phil, and their twins, Lily and Declan. Her surviving family includes her siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family, along with many dear friends, including her lifelong friend, Jodi.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Agnes Crieger; her two sisters; and her grandparents.

Tina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the traditions she passed down, and the countless memories that will continue to bring comfort, laughter, and love to those she leaves behind.

Forever Loved. Forever Remembered.
