Anthony Steward

Anthony "Andy" Steward, age 59, of Wake Village, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2026.

Andy was born on November 10, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas, to Malvin Lee Steward and the late Nelda Sue Baxley Steward. He pursued some college education and built a career in management and administration. Above all achievements, Andy’s true calling was his devotion to his loved ones. Known affectionately as "Bubba," he was a fiercely protective and loving older brother to his two brothers and three sisters. His family, especially his mother and sisters, always found a safe harbor in his fierce protection. He was also a remarkably sweet uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Baxley Steward; his nephew, Brennen Steward; his aunts, Vicky, Cathy, and Nina; and his cousin, Teresa.

Andy is survived by his father, Malvin Lee Steward; his brothers, David Steward and Michael Steward; his sisters, Paula Dagley, Stacy Steward Harper, and Tracy Steward; and his many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements are under the care of Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
