Obituary
Joycene Mary Mauldin Kidd, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 14, 2026. “Granny” was born on December 20, 1930, in Falcon, Arkansas, and was a lifelong resident of the Texarkana area.
She retired from The City Bakery in downtown Texarkana where she took great pride in serving others. She especially enjoyed giving “Pac-Man” cookies to the children who visited the store. She was a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Vickie Cooper and husband Jack of Texarkana, Texas: her son David Mauldin of Texarkana, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Tony Walker of Conroe, Texas, Chris Walker and wife Erin of Texarkana, Texas, Mandy Hartgrove and husband John o Texarkana, Arkansas; six great-grandchildren: Mason Roberts and wife J. J., Audrey Brady, Savana Roberts, Noah Walker, Ellie Hartgrove and Ruby Walker.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at home in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
