Matthew Claude Jeffries, a skilled painter and talented musician, passed away peacefully on the evening of September 7, 2026, at 8:26 PM in Ashdown, Arkansas. Born on October 2, 1960, in El Monte, California, Matthew lived a life marked by creativity and dedication to his crafts.
He was the beloved son of Paul Jefferies Sr. and Veda Burton Jefferies. Matthew is survived by his brother, Paul Jeffries, who cherished their close bond.
Mr. Jeffries held a high school diploma and was known for his artistry both on canvas and through music, sharing his gifts with those around him. He spent his final days under the compassionate care of Dierksen Hospice.
The arrangements were entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
