Steven Jacob Leeper

Steven Jacob Wagner-Leeper, age 36, passed away on September 2, 2026. Born in Sacramento, California on March 16, 1990 to Gaylyn Wagner, and Michael Leeper. Steven later resided in Fouke, Arkansas. He was a dedicated employee at FedEx and took great pride in his skill working on HVAC systems.

Steven’s absolute greatest joy in life was his family, especially spending quality time with his seven beloved children. A man of many passions, he loved attending church, riding his motorcycle, do Jiu jitsu, target shooting, playing video games, and engaging in good conversation. He was also an avid football fan who passionately cheered on his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers.

He is survived by his loving mother, Gaylyn Wagner; his brother Kody Leeper; the mothers of his children, Kayla Leeper and Heather Hackleman; and his seven cherished children: Brooklyn (14), Brantley (13), Elijah (9), Avaery (8), Sevyn (6), Hazel (5), and Gabriel (2). He also leaves behind those he held dear to his heart, including Amanda and Hollis Rhoden and Rene Deaton whom he considered as his loving parents. His best friends, Zach Belk and Austin Rhoden; and countless more friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Leeper.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held on September 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Life House, located at 1102 Maywood Dr., Texarkana, AR 71854. In honor of Steven's vibrant spirit, the family warmly requests that those attending wear his favorite colors, red and gold.
