Jeffrey Turner

Jeffery Scott Turner, 51, of Texarkana, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2026.

Born April 7 1975, to John and Beth Turner, Jeff entered this world with tuberous sclerosis

and was not expected to live past the age of eight. Through God's grace, the love of his family, and several brain surgeries, he was given far more years than anyone imagined. He filled those years with a gentle and good life.

Jeff was a graduate of Texas High School's Special Education Class of 1997. A child of God, he loved Jesus with a simple, faithful heart. He loved to pray and to play music on his piano. He was a sweet spirit, and besides the piano he found joy in his favorite foods, hamburgers and pizza.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Tony and Vida Brine, who were a precious part of his life and helped shape the man he became.

Jeff is survived by his devoted mother, Beth Brine; his uncles and aunts, Steve and Lorna Brine and Mark and Karen Brine; and his cousins Toni, Keri, Jenna, and Josh Brine. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Abundant Life-gemeta "Mimi," Shelica, Cher, Lisa, Shamiya, La Sondra, Demarcus, Marlene, and Vonshetta-for the kindness and excellent care they gave Jeff for 14 years. They also thank Heritage Hospice for the gentle, compassionate care provided during the last eight months of his life.

A graveside service will be held under the direction of Tristate Cremation & Funeral Services on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5101 W 7th st. Texarkana, TX 75501. In lieu of flowers donations in Jeff's name can be made to Heritage Hospice 4605 Texas blvd Texarkana, TX 75503
