Christopher Rathburn

Christopher Shane Rathburn, 58 of Texarkana, TX passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026 surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home. He was born on January 22, 1968, in Texarkana, TX to Reggie Rathburn and Mary Hall.

 Chris was a person who never met a stranger. He loved to serve the Lord as a greeter at the church. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hunting and camping.

He was preceded in death by Judy Zorn, Zandra Rathburn, Bill Hall and nephew Jared Furlow. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 15 years Stephanie, his loving companion fury friend that was always by his side ”Jake”, Father-in-law Tom Zorn, Brother-in-law Tommy Zorn Jr, his daughter Holli and husband Dee Crump, 5 amazing grandchildren all of Wichita, KS, Sons Justin Russell of Texarkana, TX and Brandon Russell of Magnolia, AR, His sister Shelley and Husband Keith Furlow of Texarkana, AR, His brother Trey and wife Heather Hall of Texarkana, TX. 3 Nieces and 1 nephew and many other beloved aunts, Uncles, cousins and family members.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Concho Hearts Hospice for providing such excellent care during their final days.

A celebration of Chris life will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 11-1 at Rondo Community Church 2335 N. Rondo Rd., Texarkana, AR. Arrangements are under the care of Tri-State cremation and funeral Services.
