John Reece Teer was born on June 30, 1977, in Pittsburg, Texas, and passed away on June 4, 2024. John was born to Jim E. and Lois Teer of Pittsburg, Texas.
John is survived by his mother, Lois Teer; sister, Jena Teer-McGee of New Boston, Texas; his brother Michael and sister-in-law Mary Teer of Caddo Mills, Texas; and numerous family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jim E. Teer; his sister, Sandy Teer; and his grandparents, William Andrew and Margarene Teer, and Buford and Mary Ann Kelley.
John devoted his working career to the Camp County workshop, where he worked for over 25 years. He worshipped at Pine Baptist Church and will be remembered as a faithful Christian.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 am on June 7, 2024, at Matinburg Baptist Church, with Brother Ben Warrick officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Pine Baptist Church (281 FM 1522 Pittsburg, Texas 75686).
