Elson McDonald

Elson McDonald, a beloved husband and cherished member of the Foreman community, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026. He was born on November 3, 1947, to Eugene and Katherine McDonald in Minden LA, and spent his life in dedication to his family and the values he held dear.

He was served in the United States Army and retired from Red River Army Depot.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father Eugene and Katherine McDonald, one sister Katherine Reese, and one brother John McDonald.

Elson is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah McDonald, his children, his grandchildren; two sisters; Sue Squires and Ann Baker. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dierksen Hospice for the compassionate care provided during his time.

Services will be at Crossroads Baptist Church on Thursday July 9, 2026 at 10:30 AM.
