Obituary

Judy Lynn Logan Turner, 76, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, at Reunion Plaza. She was born on July 8, 1949, to Verna Mae Jamison Manasco and Marlo Elry Logan.

Judy lived a life centered on faith, family, and the simple joys that brought her peace and happiness. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her family with her whole heart and was always willing to sacrifice her own needs to help others.

Judy enjoyed trips to the beach, where she found comfort in the sound of the waves and the beauty of God’s creation. She loved listening to gospel and country music and reading her Bible, which strengthened her faith and brought her hope and comfort throughout her life.

A very independent woman with a spirited personality, Judy will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and unconditional love for her family. Even in her final days, she treasured looking at photographs of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and continued to enjoy dancing in her chair to music at Reunion Plaza.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Verna Mae Jamison Manasco and Marlo Elry Logan; and two siblings, Mary Logan and Wayne Logan.

She is survived by her children, Karyn Denise Norton, Jeffery Dennis Haddock, and Kevin James Gravitt; grandchildren, Joshua Caleb Hensley, Eryn Elizabeth Davey, Christopher Haddock, Clay Haddock, Corey Haddock, and Chelsea Harvey; great-grandchildren, Noah Hensley, Daniel Hensley, Lyana Hensley, Nehemiah Hensley, Harrison Job Davey, and Gabriel Wyatt Davey; and her sister, Linda Hickman. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A private Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Church on the Rock in Texarkana, Texas.

Judy leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her love was endless, her faith was unwavering, and her family was everything. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
