Patrick Garrett

Patrick Clayton Garrett, aged 68, passed away on June 11, 2026. He was born on February 14, 1958.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Bernice Garrett; his sisters-in-law, Linda Garrett and Pam Garrett; his brother-in-law, Robert Denton; and his niece, Jennifer Garrett.

He is survived by his eight brothers and two sisters: Jimmy Garrett, Paul Garrett, Charles Garrett, Carl Garrett (Jackie), Jacky Garrett (Teresa), Eddie Garrett (Mesha), Larry Garrett (Lajuana), Jerry Garrett, Carolyn Denton and Joyce Heinrich (Steve). He is also survived by his two daughters, Melinda Garrett and Leslie Garrett, and his 11 grandchildren.

Patrick will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the many memories he leaves behind. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  The family wants to show appreciation to Bailey Creek and Hospice of Texarkana.  

Memorial service arrangements are pending. A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Dan Jones and Bro. Wallace Edgar, with the date and time to be announced at a later date. The family will receive friends for visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family appreciates the thoughts and prayers of friends and loved ones during this difficult time.
